We had the opportunity to go down and visit my uncle and cousin in Albuquerque. My cousin's mother is an Indian and therefore he spent some of his childhood growing up on an Indian reservation. August 4th is their tribes annual Santo Domingo Pueblo celebration and we were invited by his family to come down. They celebrate by having a huge feast and dancers who dance all day long. Pictures are strictly forbidden and so I was not able to get any pictures of their beautiful costumes. While we were there my cousin's aunt suffered from heat stroke and a medicine man came to take care of her. He performed his work in another room so we did not get to actually see it, but it was pretty interesting to see some of there customs.
Me, Madi, Jordyn, Justin, and my mom were on the flight there. Matt had a flight the next day to meet us down there. We did not have a direct flight on the way there and had to stop in Vegas, but it was not too bad. We had some really nice flight attendants who took good care of us-partially because Jordyn was being so dang cute and happy. People just couldn't stop looking at her. The flight attendants got her bottles for me which was great. I didn't know how I was going to get warm water and so having them do that helped a ton.

We went to the Albuquerque botanical gardens and aquarium. The gardens were beautiful. Madi loved playing in the fountain. They also had a huge train set that Madi loved. We practically had to drag her away.
Madi pushing the train button over and over again to make it start.

My uncle Scott and Jordyn
Madi and a blank stare. She would not smile. No Surprise.
My cousin Garon. He is currently attending medical school, but he would love to spend most of his time climbing. He goes whenever he has free time.
The two parents.
Jordyn playing and getting into everything.
Madi wrapped up in pillows and blankies. She said she was so cold after bath. Which she probably was because my brother and Matt keep the air at like 69. She was not happy as you can see.
The flight home went good again. We had a direct flight this time. Jordyn was happy as usual and soon after take off fell asleep on my mom's lap and slept the remainder of the flight.

My brother and I entertained Madisen while Matt was concentrating on not getting sick. He made it, but said it was the closest he has ever come to throwing up with out actually throwing up. I believed it because he looked extremely pail. We had a lot of fun but it is always nice to be home.

Looks like a great trip. That sucks that Matt couldn't join you right away.
It would have been neat to be able to take pictures of the dancers, that's weird that they didn't let you.
